An all natural, intoxicating perfume oil, body oil, hair oil, bath oil. An ultra-restorative, skin-conditioning and nourishing base. And don't forget, it is intensely scented! Mountain soul is the very first blend in my "conscious" aroma oil collection! The designation of "conscious" utilizes bioregionalism, sustainability and very specifically, salvage harvesting - which is a completely unique plant collection matter when used for all plant collection. My brother (who works at Yellowstone and why I asked him to help me conjure up a good name) came up with the term "salvage harvesting", which can mean anything from collecting plants and trees that were going to be bulldozed when the county was going to build a new road, or when severe weather knocked over trees and brush or when saplings are thinned for fire mitigation.

Uses for all aroma oils!
Apply 1-3 drops to give your hair shine.
*** Add 1-3 drops in your palm, rub your hands briskly together, and run your hands from the scalp to the ends of the hair. This provides light shine and wafting aroma to the hair, wet or dry.***
Dab on 5-30 drops as a perfume oil.
*** Liberally apply to pulsepoints and especially try the nape of the neck!***
Use 1-2 teaspoons in your bath.
*** These floating oils soothe and moisturize the skin and balance harried emotions. ***
A scalp massaging oil.
***Apply 1-5 drops in your palm, rub your hands briskly together and massage in the scalp. Good for both oily and dry scalps! Jojoba and other viscous oils dissolve oily build-up from over-productive hair glands and also lubricate underproductive hair follicles to keep your scalp skin supple and healthy. ***
Apply directly to dry patches of skin or abraded skin areas for healing.
***Remember, these all natural ingredients are also very healing. ***
Cuticle oil. Apply a couple of drops to your cuticles and rub in well.
***Keep cuticles soft, promote healing, and besides, your hands will smell awesome. ***
Give your partner a scalp massage. Spread the love, baby!
Note: This product has a slightly higher than normal percentage of essential oils, which suggests its use should be in drops as listed above. This product is not intended to be used over large areas of skin due to its higher essential oil content, unless diluted.

I like to rub this into my hands/wrists as an earthy, grounding "perfume." The most predominant scents to my nose are the sage & juniper. The scent to me starts out sharp and earthy/woodsy, with musky undertones. It seems to change as time passes--to a more subtle loamy, pine forest scent--which is also part of the fun of wearing essential oils!

*corn, cottonseed, canola and soybean oil-free * Alert: while we purposely choose to never use a carrier oil of soybean oil, we do use a soy-derived Vit E. This type of Vit E has the highest antioxidant power and is most commonly used in bodycare products. While most people with a soy sensitivity will not react to this minute amount and preparation of soy, we want to make it clear for those who have a much more serious reaction to any soy * petroleum-free
*Never any mineral oil, no solvent-extracted carrier oils, no Tetra-sodium EDTA, no polysorbate 20 or 80.
* And no fragrance oils. The term "fragrance" can have up to 4,000 separate chemicals, which the FDA does not require the manufacturer to list. Many of these chemicals are carcinogenic, toxic, or hormone disruptors.
