A cleanser. A moisturizer, an eye make-up remover. Your mug knows what's good for it. Vitamin-rich and emollient Sesame oil absorbs UV radiation, copy-cat Jojoba is a look-a-like for the natural moisturizing oil of your skin. And Chamomile and Calendula are super soothing and healing for sensitive mug skin. Use this oil cleanser to dissolve sebum and dirt and still retain the crucial acid mantle on your skin. Carrier oils, such as olive, coconut and sesame, combine with sebum, dissolve the sebum and allow it to be rinsed away. Soap has a high ph, which can dry skin and diminish skin's life expectancy. This facial oil will leave your skin feeling fantastically soft, silky and supple. Only a small amount is needed per cleanse.
To apply oil as a moisturizer, use only 1 drop, rub hands together briskly and lightly touch your face with your hands. No residual oil should sit on your skin.
I created this cleanser to combat the dry skin I had from living in Colorado at 9200 ft in the mountains. It really dries out your skin here! I gave up washing my face with soap, the change was dramatic, and I've never looked back!

The herbs are then solar-infused into the carrier oils,
Carrier oils: are intensely soothing and nutrient-laden. Coconut oil, Jojoba and Apricot kernal oil have specific properties each that are similar to human skin. Coconut oil itself is high in antioxidants,and contains high levels of Lauric acid.
Lavender and Neroli essential oils: well-known for their skin balancing properties, restorative and skin cell regenerating properties.

"I really like this cleanser so far. I've tried several times to make my own oil cleanser, but always had less than satisfactory results. The mug preference goes on and cleans off beautifully and I'm able to use so much less than I did with my own concoctions that this should last me quite awhile. With my own recipes my pores got smaller and my blackheads cleared up completely, but I kept getting large, tender pimples that took around a week to go away. This product contains the normal 2% dilution of essential oils and also contains carrot seed essential oil as part of the essential oil blend. Both of which (the dilution percentage and the inclusion of carrot seed essential oil) have been debated in the essential oil world as to whether these applications are safe for pregnant women. Lcofacirema aka Vital Roots used to carry a 'pregnant mama' line of body products and only used specific essential oils at a 1% dilution that could be used safely over the entire body. Facial care products are only used on a smaller part of the body, and some are products that wash off, but Vital Roots still urges all users to follow the advice of their knowledgeable practitioners as to whether this product is safe for use during their own pregnancy.
